Day 70 - Mexico Mission Trip
Sorry it’s been so long! I have been busy. This is a clever shirt - for a mission trip my church went on to Mexico a few years back we were talking about Moses and so our shirts featured the golden calf with the phrase “Don’t have a cow”.
So witty and clever and just great. It was a great trip, I wish I could go back but violence and such has prevented us from getting back there. I miss all the kids we got to meet and interact with.
Moo.

Day 69 - Youth for Christ
This shirt is pretty great. My senior year of high school at Quaker Ridge camp in Colorado, my friend Josh and I were asked to help host the nightly club show thingy ma bob. We called it the “Joshy poo and dirty J show”. (I was dirty J)
This shirt was our gift for helping out. It is super comfy and a great memory!

Day 68 - Relient K
So this shirt here was a gift - I believe in high school. I remember that some friends of mine went to a Relient K concert (my favorite band, BTW) and of course I wasn’t allowed to go for some reason.
Anyway, I am fairly positive (memory on this one is fading, like the shirt!) that my friend Izzie got this shirt for me because she knew I loved the band so much.
Fortunately, I HAVE seen Relient K in concert now, (five times even!) so I haven’t missed out on too much. It has been since December though…

Day 67 - Illinois
Hmm. So this is another hand-me-down from Dad as far as I remember… maybe Mom? Either way it is old and comfortable and well loved and a solid shirt for lounging around - like I feel like doing today!
However, with Nebraska moving to the Big Ten… I don’t know if I can wear this much anymore, eh? We’ll see how that one goes.

Day 66 - All Time Low
This shirt was a Christmas gift from Colleen back in 2008. It was our first Christmas and she had really no idea what to get to me, so her and our friend Steven just bought me a bunch of CDs and band t-shirts, which was pretty solid.
I mean it was a little hit and miss, but this is a band I ended up really liking and I may only have like one EP of theirs, but I still really love it.
You should check them out.

Day 65 - Love to Serve
This shirt is from the Carol Joy Holling summer staff of 2009. It was pretty much one of my favorite summer experiences ever. Camp is such a great place, and I love working with kids and working outdoors and teaching them about the love of Christ.
Plus, the staff are just awesome and fun and there is never a dull moment.
I can’t wait to go back this summer! Ranch camp FTW!

Day 64 - Haiti
So this is another homemade creation. My church here in Lincoln has ties to Haiti, so when the earthquake happened, we made t-shirts to raise money for the relief fund. The phrase “Men anpil chay pa lou” means “Many hands make the load light” in Creloe, the language of Haiti.
I might have stolen the phrase from a Threadless Tee at the time.. but the design is originial! On the back it just has the translation and says where we are from.
Pretty solid shirt, sold for a good cause.

Day 63 - Foreigner
This shirt unfortunately NOT from the 1978 world tour, but is in fact from this summer when Foreigner, Styx, and Kansas played a free show in Omaha at Memorial Park. It was a pretty rocking show, props to my friend Steve who went early and got a spot on the grass really early in the morning and I sort of mooched off of it.
It was a sweet concert, I mean I’m not much up on my Foreigner sadly, but it was still an awesome show and free!

Day 62 - Noah’s Ark
This shirt is a classic. In summers during high school, I would go to church camp with my church up in the Rockies of Colorado. It was a sweet camp environment, and I loved it so much. Usually on Tuesday we’d have a chance to go whitewater rafting, through this company cleverly named “Noah’s Ark”.
It was a really sweet company, they were like all faith-based and whatnot and we’d always pray before we started our rafting trips. If you have never whitewater rafted, you are definitely missing out!
Although I don’t know if I could handle doing it for 40 days and 40 nights straight…

Day 61 - Just what part of…
So you are probably used to my intermittent posting by now, sorry. I have been out of town for days, and have had the time but just never got around to it.
This shirt is from one of my trips to Florida, and a visit to the Kennedy Space Center. It’s a pretty sweet place if you’ve never been - they have like old space craft and an IMAX and Dippin’ Dots, except they are called “Space Dots” there.
I love wearing this shirt for physics tests because it has equations on it - ha only equations I never use. I even wore it in my Astronomy course, and my prof didn’t even notice. LAME.
But the joke is that it’s rocket science - get it? HAhahaHA
Interesting fact: I also have a mug with the same thing on it!
